13 sports will be competing during the Games between 16th and 22nd of June 2012 for some 49 gold medals

Waterskiing was included in the 2nd Asian Beach Games in Muscat, Oman and is delighted to be included in Haiyang 2012. Approximately 70 men and women trick skiers and wakeboard riders will compete over three days commencing on 20th until 22nd of June for four gold medals.

Unlike Oman where the competition was held on the sea, the site in Haiyang is spectacular, located at the Jiulong Lake Reservoir in the Zhaohu Mountain National Forest Park.  The site will be shared with dragon boating whose competition commences on the 17th and concludes on the 19th of June.

With the support of the Haiyang Asian Beach Games Organising Committee (HABGOC) and Nautique, the trick event will be pulled by a 2012 Ski Nautique 200 CB, whilst the wakeboarders will ride behind a 2012 Super Air Nautique 210. Nautique are also providing regional and USA technical support.

The opening ceremony commences on Saturday the 16th of June with a closing ceremony bringing the curtain down on the Games on the evening of Friday 22nd of June 2012
